I mean , yes: glad you agree. I have no idea why this work appears to have gone unrecorded - but maybe it was and I yet to find it.
I thought it was extraordinary. But Helmsdale is off the beaten track, and some alt-artists seek obscurity. I guess I was lucky to be on the spot.
Wouldn’t you love to talk to the person who created it, figure out what they were up to?

This work was/is extraordinary.
I have done my best to record it for posterity: clearly there is a whole life story behind it.
Of which I know nothing.
I feel some sense of responsibility for it: it merits preservation.
